Do you sense that this year is pregnant with possibilities and new direction for
you as a believer? I do for myself, quite strongly.
I utterly enjoy the ceremonies and pastoral care I currently participate in. I have
seen God do what only He can do, right before my eyes. What a privilege.
I have the greatest vocation I can imagine for myself. There have been so many
wonderful people that have crossed my path over the years. I've been ministering
to the elderly, infirmed, military families, women and children, bikers, Vietnam
Vets, young couples, and new parents for a long time now. Each is special and all
leave me in a state of constant amazement. I hope this year brings many more
opportunities to serve the Lord in this way.
In 2006, some friends and I started a new chapter of the Christian
Motorcyclists Association. The chapter is known as the Solid Rock Riders.
We are serving the Southern NH and Northern MA areas. More information
can be obtained at the website: www.cmaner5.org. You may also write to us at
the following e-mail address: solidrockridersnh@yahoo.com.
We hold our monthly fellowship meetings on the third Thursday of each
month. All are welcome to attend, whether to pay a visit or join. We meet at
various locations in Nashua, NH promptly at 6:30pm, followed by a time of
food and fellowship until 9pm.
If you feel called to minister to the motorcycle community, please consider this
opportunity. If you want to spend time with other Christian riders, this is a place
to do that as well. I pray people of all ages would feel comfortable and welcome.
The benefits of membership include fellowship, discipleship, and friendship; the
ministry aspect offers endless possibilities. It's all in what you make of it. My
prayer is for this chapter to thrive and grow in the Lord, under the direction of the
Holy Spirit. My hope is the unity and connections we make will be pleasing to
God.
I pray for people of integrity and truth to step forward and walk the walk,
alongside other like minded individuals. Let's create an atmosphere full of love,
hope, and excitement about what the Lord is doing. If you have ears to hear and
eyes to see, come on board and help set the course. Please plan to join us!
Spiritually, New England seems to be a particularly tough nut to crack. You have
some of the gifts and tools we need to make this endeavor a success for the Lord.
Pray and consider joining this worthwhile ministry group.
Blessings,
Debra
